Would you want a doctor to decide whether he can be bothered treating you based on what he thinks of you. That's the decision of other people.

I think you are right to support the people who treated "The Glasgow Bomber"

Do not understand what all the fuss is about. This bomber had 90% burns and were it not for the action of a brave Scottish policeman, he would probably not have made it to hospital.

He would-be bomber got the same treatment as is available to everyone else on the NHS. He was not mistreated in anyway, even thought his arrest [on film] may have seemed rough at the time.

We have to consider what was going through the minds of the Glasgow Police [brave, beyond the call of duty]. Any second that 'car bomb' could have gone off. They had no way of knowing otherwise.

I give all credit to the Glasgow Police and the medical staff who did their utmost!

There's nothing more can be said except to say that the Scots lived up to my expectations and beyond. I have never doubted them nor their capabilities even in the worst of situations.

My grandfather [Welsh] saw the Jocks go over the top in WW-One time and time again. They never gave up. God bless them all.

No, its what makes us better then the terrorists.
To attack and hurt someone is easy, to help those who want to hurt us makes us trully great.
Yes, he had to be knocked over and stopped from blowing himself up but human and British values dictate he should be given medical attention when he is no longer a threat to life.
I think most people wanted him treated, if only to see him rot in prison.

No. If we pick and choose who we look after and care for then where would it end? Every life has a right to live. After you fix them if they choose to go and blow up 300 people then that is their decision. They would have done that anyway with or without your care.

Of course not. They were doing there job. They are not barbaric savages like the bomber himself. That's the difference between us and them.

EDIT: WOW - did he die? shame. I would have liked him to rot in jail for the next 50 years.

First Doctors & Nurses have their job to do.
Second by attempting to save him, if he had lived he might have beem able to provide some information with regards the terror cell he belonged to.

no because you are a civilised human being unlike the monster who has just gone to meet his 72 virgins, but im glad he has snuffed it, it was costing the british taxpayer of whom i am one, £30,000 PER DAY in care and police protection, that could have been spent on childrens charities or care for the elderly, instead of on that piece of ****. but this is what makes us in the west above these savage degenerates.

No. Doctors are supposed to save lives- and let others ask the questions. It's one of the things that make them WHO they ARE. You're doing the right thing. :)

there is nothing wrong with supporting doctors and nurses, they do a very tough job, noy up to them to say they wont treat someone, but thankfully they couldn't help him but with any luck gave him a long and painful death
