John 19:37-38 states: “Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.”
Jesus said in John 14:6: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
From the answer of Jesus Christ to Pontius Pilate’s question, He is the truth. It agrees with what Jesus said in John 14:6.

well Jesus already had told Pilate that He was the thruth.

so sure that Pilate was taken back by that statement. then Pilate played the circular reason that so many play. okay if you are the thruth then what is thruth? then the answer Jesus is the savior, king lord, only way Son of God. then the response is what is thruth.....

The truth is all around you but you do not see, the truth and the way is standing in front of you but you do not see, your wife is given dreams but you do not listen. Ignore the crowds screaming at you...the truth...all you have to do is follow me...will you? I think something like that would have been what I would have said....what would you have said?

I am realy curious since there were no reported first hand accounts (john was certainly not there) how john claims to know this information?
