Yes. Not only am I living, I am thriving!
It is not necessary to believe in god to do those things; though some find belief a helpful tool to accomplish it, it is just as easy for atheists to perform the same tasks. For example, I have been an atheist for three years, and in that time I have done a great deal of volunteering at the local animal shelter and nature preserve, and have also graduated high school with good grades and landed a prestigous fellowship at my university. Also, I am getting along with my family and friends better than ever.
You're not going to hell. It doesn't exist, and even if it did, you are a great person and would not go there.

Every one can live with out a god. You can be good to other people, and have a happy life!
Most people today live or try to live being happy, maybe they seek a little too much pleasure, and maybe they are a little self centered.
The point is that the Bible when studied gives mankind hope of a better life. A life that will be totally free of hate, crime, violence, sickness, death. It is possible to understand what God plans for his earth and how you fit into those plans?
An example of study is in your question? You ask am I going to HELL because I am an atheist?
You grow up and learn things as you grow, and accept things in blind faith. You assume that HELL is a place of torment because that's what you always accepted.
Before you can come to a knowledge of truth you need to throw out the lies.
If you are a free thinker then ask me a logical question and see if I can give you a reasonable answer from the instruction book. gemhandy@gmail.com

The simple fact is, that you CAN live on this earth without God, but you won't live ETERNALLY if you don't believe in him.
Being a good person, helping those in need, treating others as you would want to be treated--those are all only PART of your job as a Christian. You must have faith--it is ESSENTIAL to have faith.
Think of this quote:
"I would rather live my life as if there is a God, and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there ISN'T a God, and die to find out there IS"
When your faith in God wavers, or when you have no faith in God at all, read the Bible. All of the men and women who wrote the books of the Bible didn't lie! Jesus performed MIRACLES and people witnessed it and wrote about it. I know what it's like to have your faith shaken, I know what it's like to wonder if there really is a God. But TRUST ME--a life with God is wonderful, and better than any other kind of life!

Life is hell.
You live life how you want..
A God could not have given each of us life like we were his own offspring and let the innocent die in the hands of the guilty..right?
I was born into Christianity, but I am not religious, does this mean I will go to "hell" for disobeying the apparent God that I should have been following..?
Hmm...
Heaven and hell are so clean cut, do you have to be completely good to go to heaven, and not make any mistakes..? We all have dark in us, so where is the middle layer?
Just do what you want, you're a good person..
And if anyone tells you otherwise, well they are kind of contradicting their holy aspirations by highlighting your faults aren't they? It is better to find one fault in yourself rather than a thousand in someone else so it was said..
Live by your own rules, create your own morals..
And only you can decide whether you go to "heaven" or "hell"
Boo ya.. XD

I'm very happy without a god. Belief in a god isn't necessary for people to live a good life and help other people. You don't need a god to tell you what's right.

I can... and it feels good to be free.
But we all actually live without a god, the only difference is that some people think god is real

Well, it's good that you help people... but the only way you
can get to heaven is if you believe that Jesus died for your
sins on the cross and he even said if you deny me in front of
your friends... then I will deny you in front of my father.. so
yes.. you would go to hell... but it's real easy to know god..
Just go to church this sunday or something (try a christian
one, A catholic church is like in a whole different language,,,
haha) and try an read maybe a verse out of the bible every
once a day or once a week, to try and figure out what it is
saying. (some of them are confusing, because they were
written so long ago, so that's why you should only read one a
day!! lol)

Different people have different beliefs. Some people's concept of God, or even Goddess, is very different from others. I have met at least one person who had no belief of any higher being of any kind. She was still alive last I heard. But then again, I believe broccoli tastes good and that okra is nasty. Be careful or there will be a tax on thinking.
