It could be 28 minutes from now or 280 years from now. When the superpowers square off against each other in two camps, then come back and we'll talk apacolpse.

Until then, just think regional conflicts, wars between rump states, proxy wars and brinksmanship. If you recall the Yom Kippur War in 1973, a coalition of Arab States (Egypt, Syria and Jordan) were soundly defeated by the Israelis. That was a worse situation than the current conflict and it didn't raise a blip on the world war radar (not that it didn't have the potential to spark a global war).

The next World War will involve a nuclear exchange, how could it not. In the first 30 minutes, nearly a billion people will have been vaporised, mostly in the US, Russia, Europe, China and Japan. Another 1.5 billion will die shortly thereafter from radiation poisoning. The northern hemisphere will be plunged into prolonged agony and barbarity.

Eventually the nuclear winter will spread to the southern hemisphere and all plant life will die. You ask when is the apacolypse, you are asking when will we commit global suicide. My answer is it won't happen soon because the larger superpowers are more rational than the rump states in the middle east.

Our biggest risk is an accidental launch of nukes by one of the nuclear powers.

No other generation has heard so much talk about the end of the world. Many fear that the world will end in a nuclear holocaust. Others think that pollution may destroy the world. Still others worry that economic chaos will set masses of humanity against one another.Could this world really end? If it did, what would it mean? Has a world ever ended before?
Yes, a world did end. Consider the world that became very wicked in the days of Noah. The Bible explains: “The world of that time suffered destruction when it was deluged with water.” The Bible also says: “[God] did not hold back from punishing an ancient world, but kept Noah, a preacher of righteousness, safe with seven others when he brought a deluge upon a world of ungodly people.Note what the end of that world meant and what it did not mean. It did not mean the end of humankind. Noah and his family survived the global Flood. So did the planet Earth and the beautiful starry heavens. It was “a world of ungodly people” that perished, a wicked system of things.when Jesus spoke of the days of Noah, it was in answer to his apostles’question: “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?”when Jesus described events that would occur prior to the world’s end, he encouraged them to rejoice ‘because their deliverance was getting near.Yes, deliverance from Satan and his wicked system of things into a peaceful new world!—But when will this world end? What “sign” did Jesus give of his “coming, and of the end of the world”? The Greek word here translated “coming” is pa·rou·si'a, and it means “presence,” that is, actually being on hand. So when “the sign” is seen, it would not mean Christ was soon to come but that he had already returned and was present. “Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom.”
“There will be food shortages. “There will be great earthquakes.” “In one place after another pestilences.” “Increasing of lawlessness.
So we need to learn God’s will and do it. Then we can survive this world’s end to enjoy eternally the blessings of God’s new world. The Bible promises that at that time: “God . . . will wipe out every tear from [people’s] eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”—

The bible says the world is without end. Psalms 37:9,10,11,29
That tells that God is going to destroy the wicked and the righteous will be left over in the earth. Revelation tells that Babylong the Great or the world wide empire of false religon is going to be destroyed by the governments of this world.
That will throw us into the great tribulation. It will seem hopeless that all mankind is going to be killed but those few souls who are righteous in the eyes of God will survive to make this earth a paradise.
Matthew 24:21 read it.

I think that global warming will make the world so hot, it will catch on fire, and the whole Earth will be baptized by fire (you know when the Earth was flooded and God promised Noah that He wouldn't flood the Earth ever again, so He said in the scriptures that in the end the Earth will be baptized by fire and the wicked will burn and temples of His true church will spring up and the good will be Resurected and they'll live on the Earth for 1,000 years doing work for God.)

And I believe with all my heart that that will happen.

We are coming to an end of the age, not the end of the world. This misinterpretation come from westerners trying to understand literature that was inspired by eastern traditions.

Global Warming is going to cause climate changes around the world and then there is going to be famine because it will mess up crops and cause massive amounts of cancer in people. When people are starving it is also going to cause hording and factions. So, basically, everything that is happening now is going to become even worse. Basically the things that have always brought around declines of civilizations and bad things. Plagues, famine, war, disease, nothing new. Funny, still after all these years, and we are still making the same dam mistakes.

IT IS A WORLD WITHOUT, YES WITHOUT END !
WE DIE , THE WORLD GOES ON.

SUBSCRIBING TO A PAGAN, "END-OF-THE-WORLD" PARADIGM.

Do you know what the Bible says about an "end of the world?" NOTHING. What do the historic creeds say? Again, NOTHING. What the Bible actually says is:
World without end, Amen -- Ephesians 3:21 KJV
The earth remains forever -- Ecclesiastes 1:4
End of the age -- Matthew 13:39, 49; 24:3
