I'd say no, but rather, that Jesus is a manmade image, invented out of sungod/godman myths that were prevalent in Rome at the time of Constantine. In order to unite the Roman empire, they created a version of the godman/sungod that the pagans could accept. There were all sorts of sungod cults around that time- like Mithra, Osirus, Zeus, etc., all based on nature worship and worship of the sun in its orbit around the zodiac.
The Catholic church unified the religions under Jesus Christ- which wasn't the name used back then- it was Yahoshua, but that's irrelevant. Jesus Christ became the new deity that all must confess a belief in or die. Even in the book of Revelation- chap. 13, it says that all were forced to worship the beast or its image or be put to death. For almost 1300 years, that's exactly what occured- the inquisitions, the crusades, etc.
Now people who don't know the history believe in Jesus partly because they're told that if they don't, they'll go to hell- will die.
The christian church is a beast and Jesus is its image. Very tricky and mind-boggling stuff, but this is my understanding of it.

First of all if the Devil had repented today the world would not be the way it is.Once someone ask for forgiveness it is forgiven. The Devil wants to be better then God and is out there to deceived those who want a better life. The Devil is not no good his all the opposite the devil is a backstabber.God the powerful one gave satan mostly all the blessings and look how satan gave the Lord consideration. No evil will succeed and will have the punishment from God one day all shall see the coming of God. We are the only ones who have the knowledge to do good or bad no one but us are countable of our actions. Not the devil he tempts but we can say no.

No...jesus was a tiny figment of some power hungry control freak's imagination.
He was "put on earth" to help the greedy steal from the needy. He also brings false hope to all that sadly worship this insignificant icon.
so I guess what I am saying is that yea jesus really was the devil well the guy who dreamed him up is... and man he did a good job and now... "He's got the whole world in his hand"...

Sounds far-fetched, but you might make a case for the theory. After all, Christianity has become such a strange mixture of prejudice, thought control, rigid rules, self-righteousness, odd little sub-cults like the fundamentalist young earthers, and especially proselytizing to the extent of offending nearly everyone, that perhaps it was not just Jesus' followers going astray, but all part of a diabolical plan.
I'll have to think about that.
