I had been singing for about an hour and a half when I noticed that while my lower notes (as in like I guess alto range) were strong, my higher notes were getting harder to hit. Any explanation for this? Was my voice strained? Afterwards I did a high scale and it sounded better, but still. Tips would be extemely helpful and if I think your answer helps than I will name a best answer.

Your Voice I think has had enough. If your voice Isn't working like it use to then its Tired. Listen to your voice and lay off on the singing for a while. I suggest While your voice is resting to practice your breath control. I had problems with my voice getting tired unitl I learned good breath support and control, it eased the tension in my throat. Also If you sing for hours like I do take breaks inbetween and drink lots of water.

An hour and a half is a long time. I would think you overused and strained your voice.
