And to complicate things my friend knows that I love this person and asked me if it was okay to go out with this person and I said yes, he also said he would dunmp her like that for me but I really care about this girl.

Its a love triangle!

--It's so good to love a person...and your feelings shows that you cares about this girl...

If your friend dont really love her As you..but just like her and after wants to just dump her...Better Let Him Know that You Dont Want Her to get Hurt...

talk to him in a friendly way so he dont make fun of you as boys use to do sometimes...

If He is really your Friend He Will Respect your Feelings and Wish to Help A friend Like You...

I was in one of those once. My best friend dated a man, but we fell in love. It happens. Well him and I broke up after several years, and he actually ended up getting back with her, which made me believe he was doing things with her on the side. But doesn't matter. We all argued a lot in the beginning of him and I dating, and in the beginning of him and her dating, but I've moved on and we are all friends.

Everything will play out the way it should, it'll just take time to see what you should really do.
If she doesn't love you, and you really love you.. you'd just want her to be happy, even if it meant not being with you.

She can choose who she likes. If she doesn't want to date either one of you or one or the other, then she has a say in it.

You can continue to get to know her as a friend. If it is meant to be it will.

You told him he could go out with her. Now you have to wait and see what happens. It is never good to lose friendships over a girl. Try to go out and do things like volunteering. It will help you get your mind off of them and make someone else's life brighter. That will in turn lift your spirits. Have faith that whatever is suppose to happen, will.

If you really love her than you would want her to be happy. Does your friend make her happy? if so then step aside and try to move on. It always hurts when you want something and can't have it.

Grow up.

None of you are in love. Not one of you is mature enough to know what that is.
