God created Adam to dwell in heaven and not earth. But Adam sinned. But of course God knew Adam would sin. God sent Adam to earth as a punishment.
........................................
God held Adam and Eve jointly responsible for disobeying him with regards to the tree, and no ‘original sin’ came into being, to be inherited for all time by innocent children. Adam and Eve sought God's forgiveness (repented) and were forgiven, and Adam (peace be upon him) is respected in Islam as the very first Prophet of God.

"That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. And that man can have nothing but what he does (of good and bad). And that his deeds will be seen, Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense [fair] " [Qur'an 53:38-41]

So he would yearn to return to him original home. In Islam we do not believe in the original sin what we believe in is Adam (upon him peace) was sent to complete the earth. Just like you build a house but its empty what the use of it? When you put people into it then it becomes useful, then it fulfils its purpose.

I don't really understand your question. There are two Adam stories in Genesis - you might want to read them. The most generally accepted one is that Adam was made of the earth.

He wasn't in heaven when God created him. God made him out of the dirt, and breathed life into him.

Adam's soul or spirit was in heaven to begin with. His mortal body was created for earth. Then when he died, his soul went back to heaven to live with God.
