Milosevic never killed so many people it is just western propaganda.I really don't know why did U.S.A. go to war in Kosovo,it is something that I can't figure for sure since 1999.I think it was just an attempt to weaken Serbia (which is Russia's greatest ally in Balkans).About the war itself:Albanians lived peacefully in Kosovo for centuries until suddenly a terrorist organization appeared-KLA (Kosovo Liberation Army). Those guys were actually Islamic extremists which cooperated with Al Qaeda and were treated like terrorists even by the U.S.Unfortunately U.S.A. decided that Serbs were a greater threat than Albanians because Serbs were (and still are) Russian allies.KLA attacks on Serbian and non-Albanian population became so often and ruthless that Serbian army responded in 1998.But American news and American government than started a propaganda campaign against Serbs and managed to present Serbia as second Nazi empire which is really hilarious.Serbs just defended themselves against extremist Muslim separatists. Finally after long propaganda campaign NATO involved in march 24. and started a bombing campaign. At first they wanted to destroy Serbian army, but as that proved a hard task (on march 26. an F-117 A was shot down) they slowly turned to bombing civilian targets. Therefore many schools, hospitals, churches, bridges, civilian trains and houses were destroyed in a desperate attempt to force Serbia to surrender until more civilians die.At the end of war in May,Serbian losses were 3000 civilians,100 soldiers and 3 tanks.NATO lost some 90 planes and a few soldiers.KLA was almost destroyed when Serbs were forced to pullout from Kosovo. It should be mentioned that Serbian army bravely held all positions in Kosovo until the very end of war.A handfull of men held the Kosare region which was on the border of Albania despite numerous attacks from NATO air force and artillery and KLA hordes. They even managed to launch an attack with two old T-55 type tanks into Albanian territory with aim of destroying ammo dumps and succeeded. It is also interesting that despite all propaganda famous AH-64 Apache was never used on Kosovo. They were brought to the border of Kosovo, but two were shot down by the Serbs during trainings and U.S.A.F. decided to pull them out of action before more get shot down. Also 10 A-10 Thunderbolts were badly damaged by Serbian AA defense and later destroyed by Americans.Serbs proved that 1999. war wasn't another "Picnic to Baghdad".

P.S. western media showed videos and photos of dead Albanian civilians but they (hopefully) didn't know that Albanians usually dressed their dead soldiers like civilians just to show them to the world and say that Serbs are butchers. And to say that Milosevic killed hundreds of thousands of civilians i laughable because there weren't so many Albanians there in the first place!I would only just say that before the NATO involved ethnic percentage on Kosovo was 60% Albanians and 40% of Serbs. Now there is almost 95% Albanians there.I just wonder who committed genocide...

slobodan's troops killed much less people than in your numbers, don't trust what albanians are saying, lot more serbs were killed by the so called uck (kla), and that number is in thousands, take a look three years ago in march is only a small part what they did

US also didn't go to war to gain a plus with moslems, cause albanians aren't muslims, they're kurds, so that isn't a reason

They went to war, probably cause they need place for their bases on balcan, not to help albanians

He (Milosevic) did not do it himself. He put forth the actions and set up events that resulted in the death of thousands. Here how he did it.

He took away the Kosovar Albanians rights that they were once assured by the Yugoslav constitution. Also the status of the province as an autonomous region was trashed. He also instigated conflict in a speech there in 1987, where he promised the Serbs there special status(mind you Serbs were only 12% of the popullation at the time). This resulted in the birth of the KLA(Kosovo Liberation Army) an underground resistance movement that came to be 5/6 years latter. He latter tried to crush the KLA but progress was slow. So he send a massive team of army personel, paramilitaries, criminals from jails he emptied, and regular volunteers. All these groups still failed to crush the rag tag army of the KLA so they decided to take their frustrations out on the innocent people of Kosovo. Evicting 800,000, and another 300,000 were displaced internally in Kosovo, and killing 10,000 est.
these tactics had the following effect:

1. It turned the KLA into freedom fighters and they became widely accepted and supported by Kosovar popullation.
2. Serbs right then and there lost whatever claim they had to Kosovo, because now all Albanians even former Yugoslav supporters knew they could never remain in Yugoslavia.
3. The international community along with NATO feeling guilty of not preventing genocide in Bosnia and Rwanda stepped in and drove the Serbs out with bombs.
4. Once the Serbs moved out the Albanians returned and some took revenge on the few remaining Serbs, and they tried to destroyed anything that would tie the province to Serbia and that was the churches.

Albanians did not start the war in Kosovo. But the Albanians finished it. The final chapter is yet to written to this story and that is going to take place soon in the form of independence for the province.

Ladies and Gentlemen below me you have two brainwashed individuals. Just read how ill informed they really are. "NATO lost 90 planes", "60% of Kosovo was Serbia before the war".

That was a smoke-screen to cover the spot on the famous blue dress.
Clinton helped Islamic extremists (by the way, former illegal immigrants) to expel the Christians, burn the churches, and make huge profits from heroin trades.

Slobodan Miloshevich was damn right when fought the "kosovars", "bosnian muslims" and other gangs.

I believe it was a NATO action and not the US.

But of course many people will continue to live in denial and post their rants.
