Adam and Eve never existed, they are just handed down to us as part of the judeo-christian creation myth embodied in the book of genesis. All cultures have creation myths. Evolution was and is a complex process - we did not evolve from monkeys or apes but we are closely related to them in evolutionary terms, proven be DNA analysis.

Yes.
Even with evolution from monkeys, it is possible that all people alive today might trace their lineage to a common male or female ancestor. In fact I understand that we all have a common mother, about 100,000 years ago, somehow proven with MitoChondrial DNA (which passes only through Mothers).
" Eve is estimated to have lived about 140,000 years ago. Y-chromosomal Adam is estimated to have lived around 60,000 years ago"

I tend to believe the more scientific approach, which would be evolution. I believe facts. But I would also like to say that I have room in my mind for both theory's.

Evolution because of historical and fossil evidence. Cave drawings had to get there somehow.
Everyone has a right to their opinion though.
