When he sees us he's not afraid at all, he's so excited..., and he stays outside not inside, he's a lab.

This is called submissive urination and indicates that the dog is an omega and very submissive. This isn't a bad thing. I like omega dogs as they are not aggressive towards people or other dogs. This behavior is best treated by avoidance. Do not get the dog excited when you come home. Usually this will require that you ignore the dog for about 10 minutes. Usually as the dog gets older it normally doesn't become all that excited when it first sees you. But, this will take years.

Your puppy is clearly excited to see you. When you or your husband come in, don't touch or give any eye contact to the dog. When the dog calms down, then you can greet it, but in a very calm manner so that it doesn't get all excited again. That should stop the excitable peeing.

Do you make a big deal out of coming and going? If you make a scene with the dog before you leave or when you see him after being gone all day, he'll think there is a reason to get excited or worried. Try making it no big deal when you come home or leave. :)

This is a submissive greeting, and it's total instinct. She might not even know she's doing it. It took years for my dog to get over it. One thing you might try is completely ignoring them for the first few minutes after you come in the door. Right now, she is under the impression that the minute you come home, she's supposed to run up and be submissive to you. Don't scold her for this, just ignore it and it will stop. It is instinct, but you can suppress it if you work at it.

save him in the crate many of the time with the door closed.canines clearly do no longer choose for to soil their very own dens. The crate might desire to easily be great adequate for him to stand, turn around and lie down. If he pees as quickly as whilst he's in there he won't like it and could study to hold it in or maybe study permit you be conscious of whilst he incredibly need to flow exterior by utilising scratching on the door or crying loudly. domestic dog pads and newspaper are each and every of the comparable and can confuse him using fact one minute you're letting pee interior the homestead and the subsequent he has to flow exterior? it is nonetheless somewhat early for him to be thoroughly housebroken yet he's a sensible breed so he will study quickly, that's superb to be consistent and in basic terms persist with one technique. save up with the praises and treats whilst he does flow exterior and don't get mad whilst he does it interior, in basic terms sparkling it and pretend it on no account befell.

It is getting over excited. When you go home, don't go in and get all excited to see the puppy. Try walk in, set your things down, do what you need to do and then *calmly* greet the puppy.

It sounds like submissive urination. When you arrive home, bring him outside, immediately. When he goes outside, gooood boy!

Don't make loud, high pitched noises or baby-talk. That should help, too
