I guess I never thought about this, buuut.. The other day, a pretty good friend of mine (guy :] ) mentioned -CLAIMED- that guys find it creepy when girls ask them out, or get put in awkward situations.. So, do you think this is true? Or does it depend on the guy getting asked/girl asking?

It TOTALLY depends on the guy. The guy I crushed on didn't ask me out, so.....I took the matter into my own hands, and asked him out! He loved it! He is currently my boyfriend of 2 years! I couldn't be happier! I dont think it is creepy at all, it just depends on the guy. ^_^

I don't think a lot of guys find it creepy, but some of them just don't like it. It does put the guy in an awkward situation if he's not that into her, and the guy may agree to go out with her just because he considers himself to be a nice guy. In my experience, it's better to be asked out by the guy instead of you asking him out. That way, you know for sure he's interested and not leading you on.

I think it depends on the guy egtting asked...
cause getting asked by a girl could be a huge ego boost for that guy.
some guys, I wouldn't say "creeped" out, but find it awkward getting asked out by a girl, mostly because guys don't expect it; I suppose there's nothing wrong with it, but they just don't expect it, they expect themselves to make the first move.
Personally, I find it awkward getting asked by a girl.

I dont think its creepy at all...girls fear rejection just like guys do and they put us in awkward situation if they suddenly ask us out and we dont know what to say...so that would just be a double standard and thats not fair....so it shouldnt be creepy
