You can use a clarifying shampoo 2-3 times in a row. Let the lather sit for a couple of minutes before rinsing. Do not use conditioner until after the final wash.

Nexxus Aloe Rid, Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo, Pantene Clarifying shampoo - almost any brand will do.

If you decide to try the dish washing liquid - choose a mild one; one that isn't designed for greasy pots & pans because you don't want to dry out your scalp. It's basically a strong detergent & will help get rid of the color fast.

Rinse really well. Have a deep conditioner on hand and apply it before trying to comb out your hair. Soothe your scalp w/ a drop of jojoba oil afterwards.

Find some clarifying shampoo and wash your hair a couple of times. That should get it out fairly quickly. Don't use conditioner.
