There are any number of great ways of doing this.
Blanch it, cut it off the cob, & put it in freezer bags.
Cut it off the cob, put it in a baking dish with some butter and half&half, bake at 350 for about 2 mins., let it cool, then bag it.
Trim the ends, place it in freezer bags on the cob, and freeze.
Blanch it, put cooled cobs in freezer bags, & freeze.
So far this year, I have just been freezing it right on the cob, but I use a food saver vac to seal it.

Wash the corn well, removing the ends of the cob and the silks. Cut cobs into desired serving size pieces. I leave some whole, and break some in half for smaller servings. Heat a big pot of water to boiling. Drop ears of corn into boiling water. When water returns to boil, blanch ears by boiling about 1 minute. Carefully remove from water, or dump into a clean sink. After cooling the corn, put it into gallon size freezer bags and store in your freezer. You can take out as many pieces as you want later and boil them until done.

One of the best ways to freeze shucked is to lay it out on a cookie sheet and freeze that way then after the kernals are frozen then bag the corn into heavy freezer bags. The corn should keep for up to 6 months.

I always blanch them first. Put into a large pot of boiling water and set the timer for 5 minutes once the water has returned to the boil.
Simmer and then drain well. Place in freezer bags and freeze.

We put up about 350 ears recently. Here is what we did:

Blanch for 5 minutes in boiling water. 5 Minute ice bath. Freeze for a couple of days put them on a tray or something like that. Vacuum seal and they will keep for a long time. We have a Food Saver and it is GREAT! Hope this helps!

I just double bag it with freezer bags.

I put about 5-6 ears of corn in a freezer bag, put that inside another freezer bag, and throw the whole thing in the freezer. It has always worked well for me.
