okay last night we had plans and i texted him and called. never answered never replied til 6:44 this morning.
he didnt give an excuse just said he was sorry, granted we've only been going out for a week so we don't necessarily have to share every moment of our life together. I'd just like to know what was so god da mn important that he couldnt take one second to text/call saying hey something came up sorry hun.
better than nothing at all.
anyways is this a good reason to be mad?
guys, i wanna hear your side too.

Don't be so impatient. If you have only been going out for a week, that's not much of a commitment.

You each need some personal space. Don't put pressure on him to call/text back every time you call/text him. He will see you as "needy" or "high maintenance" and you will drive him away. Just give each other some time to learn to be friends.

So you had confirmed plans to spend time together and he never showed up? And then he hasn't apologized or explained why?

Sounds like pretty rude, flakey behavior.

Consider this: guys are on their BEST, most polite behavior early in a relationship when they are still trying to impress a girl (or get in her pants). Rarely do they behave BETTER as time goes on. THIS guy (one week into your relationship) can't be bothered to show up or explain why he bailed out on you .... hmmm .... what does that tell you about the future?

The simple truth is that he didn't want to be bothered with you at the time. Next time he does that when he calls you at 6:44 in the morning - just don't be available to answer your phone when he decides to squeeze you in! Men can be such jerks sometimes so get used to it.

You have every right to be upset. Of course, you don't want to think too much into it because then you will start to think that he might be cheating on you or something like that. Have you asked him why he didn't reply or call? You should try that. Ask him nicely, though. You don't want to piss him off.

Best of luck

I think that that is lousy!!!
Every relationship demands respect... and you didn't get any
Before you go jumping to the wrong concussion find out exactly what the problem was.. if it was personal, family crisis.. phone dead.. bad location... what ever BUT if he just didn't call because he was drunk or didn't care!!!!! I would not be around .. there are much more sensitive men out there

its shows some insenativity on his part and doesnt really think about how it would make you feel... for the reason that you said he could have been considerate and just called and said something came out....id be a little frustrated if that happens but not go crazy on her...if it becomes a pattern watch for it and dont take too much of it

Check him out. I would bet he was with some other lass the other night. his cp was turned off cuz he was probably f***ing someone else and didnt want to interrupt the moment with you.

Dont accuse him until you know for sure, but you should check into it soon..

Good luck...

I f you made plans you have every right to be mad if he didn't let you know he was going to be no show. This one will be like this forever. I would move on now...

he should've called but then again you don't know the circumstances. If you are mad after the first week I think its time to move on.

You're so right. Sit him down and talk to him and explain why your hurt or something, and that he has no right to make you worried. Then kiss and make up yadayadayada...it may bring you even closer.
