on a home pc "task manager has been disabled by your administrator" ......... its a personal pc help

was new when we got it,running xp and can still system restore.........looks like virus or else someone hacked us :(

ITS A HARD VIRUS ATTACK SO... REMOVE THAT VIRUS.
OR FORMAT UR COMPUTER.

ONLY THAT CAN SOLVE THAT PROBLEM

You can't fix it without administrator privledges.

Generally speaking if it's a home PC, there is no reason that I can see as to why it is disabled, find the person taht has administration privledges and switch it over

Create an administrators account, in control panel.

maybe a virus,
only an administator could change this but if you are the admin account the only probility is a virus...
but what are you running XP or Vista?
its a virus!!! try to run system restore,
bet thats stopped 2!

talk to the administrator of the computer...friend, parent, sibling...whoever owns the computer. the account you are using is limited, so talk to whoever owns, or controls, the computer

When you turn on your computer press F8 repeatedly until a black screen appears then select Safe Mode you will see some
an account named administrator click om it when you are log on go to start>Control panel>User accounts>Home Look for you account select it go to change account type and put Administrator.
