I am a car dealer in metro Atlanta. In what part of the country can i find the best prices on used cars and pick up trucks (under 2000 dollars).

I have plenty of money for shippig i was just hoping for any tips on where cars and trucks are being sold cheap so ican make some kind of profit

please do not reply with negative comments i'm just looking for good locations where good running used cars and trucks are sold fairly cheap

As a dealer, you have access to dealer auctions all over the country. You also know that 2000 does not buy a whole lot these days. Prices seem to be rather high! You have to allow for the cost of shipping cars to your location from where you buy them.

Check the Mannheim market report, and their presale inventory to get an idea of where cars that you are looking for are being offered

you havent been a car dealer very long......cars for under 2 grand yes....pickups for under 2 grand to make a profit....yeah right......i have been a car dealer for 15 yrs trucks are high every where...it doesnt matter where you go...you should know that..........when i can take an 87 chevy 4X4 to a dealer auction and it pulls 5 grand why try to sell to the public.......you tell me

I would say Arkansas. Run an ad in Central Little Rock newspaper that on certain day you will be buying and paying cash for good used cars or trucks under 2,000.00--I believe you would be swamped with good vehicles and many would be under 1500.00-----Lots of people need to convert a good vehicle into cash and not many buyers in that area.
