we have the resources to fix anything---money is not the issue,,,,,its only AFTER people die, do we take action

right now we know the TSA is doing a horrible job,.they fail every test every time----we are inviting another 911----and everyone will be so "surprised".

Because we Americans are so satisfied with ourselves that we have become fat and lazy, and prefer to be reactive instead of proactive.
There will probably be another attack of 9/11 magnitude in the near future, and you're right - we will all be shocked all over again.

Money IS the issue. We don't have enough to fix everything. That bridge was on a list of many with a little rust and bad paint. There's too much being spent on frivolous pork and not enough spent on legitimate needs.

That's the liberal mindset. Don't spend money on the military, wait until we are matched, or worse, then worry about it. Same goes for the infrastructure. They'll just keep patching it until a catastrophe happens.
