Aaronic Preist sounds like a pretty impressive title especially in light of how Aaron was described in the Bible , yet I see these kids in High School claiming the "Authority of the Aaronic Preisthood". I dont see anything so special about them that would deserve such a title.

It sounds to me that the Mormon church just throws around Titles without any consideration of what the Title really means. Prophet? Apostle? Melchizedek Priest? Aaronic Priest? Elder? Deacon? Investigator? Anti-Mormon? Apostate? Of course the title I am not seeing here is "Sinner saved by Grace. "
I wonder why?

Worthy male members ages 12-17 can receve the priesthood of Aaron, which is the lesser priest hood and give them athourity to act with the things of the earth in the name of God. This means passing and anything that has to do with the sacrament and the priests are the 16-17 year olds who can do that and also baptize. It starts with 12-13 year olds with Deacon, the up to 14-15 year olds as teachers and then priests. After priests, if they are worthy, then they can receve the melchezedic priesthood and be ordained and elder.
To have a title of such importance is what is manifested through out their lives. There is high standards to be a holder of the priest hood and those who arnt worthy, wont be able to have it. The priesthood is on earth to help and serve others. Thats what the entire porpose of it is. Christ came to this earth to help others and in the end he gave his life and suffered for our sins, one of the greatest acts of service he could give us. The priest hood is the power of god restored upon the earth. The Aaronic priest hood is to prepare the youngmen for the greater melchezidec priesthood.

Mormon boys can get ordained to the Aaronic preisthood when they're 12. They have to have an interview with the bishop, the bishop asks them a bunch of questions, makes sure they're not doing drugs, having premarital sex, bla bla bla, if they pass the test a group of elders gives him a blessing and voila! He's an Aaronic preist.
