Well, Number 1, I don't think he was an effective governor. Will somebody in the media please talk about his record?
Number 2 - the Mormon issue does matter to me. Mormons have a one world government worldview - I believe in the sovereignty of individual nations. I wouldn't want a person with that worldview to be the President during this difficult time in world history.

I don't know a lot about him as a person...I know he is Mormon and that is not a Christian to me. He seems like a nice guy though.
But I'm not looking for a nice guy...I want someone who will do something about these atheist, out of control judges.....trying to push their agenda on the rest of us...I want the border closed. I want strength when it comes to the Iraq war...I want someone who can see the bigger picture of why we are there and why we cannot just up and leave....I want the health care system made a priority. I don't want taxes raised...I want to enjoy the same economy we have had under George Bush....and I want every child molester, tattooed with a big red X on his forehead..but I guess that is asking too much.
I don't think Mitch is that man.

I don't care what religion he is, I don't like his policies or his politics. He said one thing to become Governor of Massachusetts and now says another to become President. He reminds me of Inspector Reynauld in Casablanca when he said: "I have no convictions. I blow with the wind." And to paraphrase: And right now the prevailing wind is coming from the right.

He was a crap governor. He couldn't get re-elected, so he didn't run again. He'd never be a presidential candidate after he lost a gubenatorial campaign for re-election.
He says anything to get elected; every thing he says today on his positions contradicts his past two campaigns.
He's awful.

I can't have an opinion on a politician who doesn't stand for anything. The man is more plastic than G.I Joe.

We really need an Atheist in office. Look at what happened when we put a christian in office. We got Bush and he has created a mess that will take years to clean up.
We need someone who does not claim that god talks to them. If god tells Bush what to do then god is a screwup.

He flip flopped on a number of issues to appeal to the right wing - - he should have also flip flopped on religion and joined another sect of xianity.
Most sects of xianity consider mormonism a cult..he dont got a chance
