No. We don't have souls.
Religion is all superstition. When we die, we're just dead.

You can't "sell your soul", because The Lord God already owns it.This is stated in Ezekiel of The Good Book, The Bible.
Thus..."Ezek. 18:44: Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die."-King James Vers.
Therefore, you can't. Not to the Devil,

If you are a Christian, your soul is not yours to sell.
1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
1 Corinthians 7:23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.

I've always thought about that, just curiosity. But giving my soul away is too much of a gamble for me that im not willing to take.
But I think i would randomly say it but deffinately not mean it.

Not ours to sell...
57:16 For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.

What's with all these questions about selling one's soul?
I think if you collect actual payment and issue a written statement regarding said sale, then it is officially a sale and then you can say that you have sold your soul. if the person who purchases it calls themselves satan, the devil or lucifer, then you can brag that you sold your soul to the devil.

I think that metaphorically speaking we can sell our soul when we do things that we are morally opposed to - but choose to do anyhow for some type of gain.

Nope. I don't think we have souls, but if we doubt, I don't think we'd be able to sell them. Definitely just a figure of speech used to express strong desire for something.

Amanda... Jesus told us to watch what we say for every word we utter will be judged....satan knows this too and could use that to his advantage..
However... "sell your soul to the devil" has so many possibilities....blaspheming the Holy Spirit by whatever God judges that to be.... turning your back on God and renouncing Him, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.... indulging in sexual sins, blood lusts, murder, pedophilia, worshiping satan and indulging in and promoting ANY of the carnal sins, etc. etc.,.etc.,.
Peace be with you :)

What's a soul? Do you mean consciousness? If so, no, when you die, it is gone, nothing to sell.

I think most people sell bits of their soul every day.
Every time they give in to what they "should" be doing, regardless of whether it's right.
It's easy to sell your soul--no contract, no agent, no supernatural element required.
Keeping it is much harder.
