To dream that you are cheating on your spouse, mate, or significant other, suggests feelings of self-guilt and self-betrayal. You may have compromised your beliefs or integrity and/or wasting your energy and time on fruitless endeavors. Alternatively, it reflects the intensity of your sexual passion and exploring areas of your sexuality. It is a reaffirmation of your commitment.

I know I've said before that dreams are a manifestation of the subconscious, in other words, hidden desires that come forth in dreams as symbolism. However, that's not to be take quite so literally. It doesn't necessarily mean that your girfriend has a secret desire to make it with your friend. She may have a secret wish for something else that's unattainable, such as money, a better social life, or even a desire to get along better with her parents. But in her dream, it manifests as a sexual thing with your friend. That's how goofy dreams are -- they don't relate to the real thing, and use symbolism instead.

I'll give you an example. I have a recurrent dream about my teeth falling out. Does that mean I want to have dentures? Hell no! What was explained to me, was that I feared the loss of my children when they would grow up and leave home. What does that have to do with teeth? Absolutely nothing! So please, don't be too hard on your girl. She picked you, and not your friend, and she can't control what she dreams. At least she had the honesty to tell you about it. If there were anything going on, would she admit it? Another hell no.... So don't be pissed off over nothing. Lots of people have erotic dreams about people they wouldn't give the time of day to, in their waking hours.

Overreacting a bit, but at the same time you
being upset is appreciated. With regard to
the overreacting... understand that what we
experience in our dreams is symbolism. While we
sleep the unconscious continues to resolve what is
left unresolved in wakeful hours- unfinished business
so to speak. To dream of someone other
than our significant other is experienced, at one time
or another by everyone. Its comparable to having a dream
of making love with a celebrity. This occurence is highly unlikely, in the light of day and for that matter, might well be undesirable... in the light of day.The person we experience in the dream is merely the guide directing us to what we are afraid of and or what we are wishing for. Remember there are
only two (2) types of dreams: Fearful and Wishful.

The pissed off part- raises the question: Why is your girl telling you her dreams- a bit insensitive on her part- most especially if she is telling you to get you to do something that she is wanting (And keep in mind that your girl may not yet know herself what it is she is wanting.).Read some "Carl Jung," he is a wealth of knowledge regarding tbe workings of the unconscious and dreamstates.

Don't let this dream bother you one bit! Let it go! Its a dream-

It's totally normal to wonder about other people. Have you ever seen someone and fantasized about them. Just because she had a dream about your friend in no way means she would ever act upon it. She can't control what she dreams about, it was JUST a dream.

I actually heard somewhere from a very unreliable source that dreaming about your lover having an affair with someone else reveals your own displaced feelings of cheating on your lover.

....soooo....maybe dreaming that you cheat on your lover, means that you fear he/she will cheat on you.

If she's dreaming it, she's thinking about it.

Doesnt mean she will do it.

Dont get mad when she shares things with you, because if you do, she may never share with you again.
