You shouldn't cook the fresh cilantro for very long. It's better to just top your dish with it when it's finished cooking, otherwise you cook all the flavour out of it. If you feel you must cook with cilantro then buy some of the dried stuff, it'll hold up better. But to me nothing beats fresh cilantro on top of just about anything, from tacos to pasta, in a sandwich or on a curry. It's so good with everything!

Being Puerto Rican and having cilantro in or on almost everything, I will tell you that it is a great herb to have!

I love putting it fresh and chopped up on my dishes, any kind really that is nice and hearty. Like on top of chili or rice and beans. The possiblities are truly endess and delish!

Many ways to use cilantro. Wash well and chop or tear into pieces. Can be stewed with meat, fish or chicken and used as topping garnish.
Use it the same as parsley.
Enjoy

When you buy it fresh, it is usually in a bunch. Just put it standing up in a glass with cold water, and cover it with handi-wrap. Then when you want to use some, take out what you need and chop it up. It will stay fresh this way for quite a while.

I put roast beef in the pressure cooker with salt and garlic salt and water. I make taquitos with it and add cilantro and lemon. MMM

Rinse it. You don't need to do anything else unless the recipe calls for it, although most recipes need it chopped.
