Places to get married on the Oregon Coast?

Question

A good friend of mine is getting married next August and since she is currently in Idaho, I told her I would help her find her place. She wants to get married on the Oregon Beach, so I am looking for a place that is blocked from the wind and usually has decent weather at least in August. Thanks for you help!!!

I'm getting married on the Oregon Coast! :)

But it's at my family's beach house in Cannon Beach. So she wouldn't be able to use my location. We own the house right in front of haystack rock. We'll be having the reception in our yard.

Cannon beach is a lovely place though. I know there are a number of hotels on the coast there that do weddings. The Hallmark Inns for one. One of them has a beautiful view of Haystack rock.
Otherwise I would check Astoria, Seaside and Newport. They are larger cities and would have a great number of hotels available.

I don't think they do weddings but you might also look into Ecola State Park. It's very beautiful!

I've hear Cannon Beach is really nice. The link has tons of information and pictures. And there is even a link to wedding information on the left side of the page. My family takes a trip the the Washington coast every year in August. Actually, we are leaving tomorrow! And it's wonderful and gorgeous there. I think the Oregon Coast is pretty similar. The weather is nice on some days but can be rainy without notice so be prepared, but even when it's rainy it's still beautiful. Good luck!

Seal Beach has a nice Resort.
Cannon Beach and Astoria are both gorgous.
