whats the company?
Think of an example when you did something right and try and apply it to the company in some way - helps if you can make them laugh

Personally, I would forget the props, and any other fanfare.

Had a interview about three years ago, and they asked me to do the same thing, except, I had to do a ten minute presentation on the company.

Looked the company up on line, got their financial information and history on the two original owners. And, simple information about the company, product and mission statement.

I would say that I was into 90 seconds of telling the HR panel about their company when I was stopped, and told that was enough. A few weeks after I got the job, the manager that stopped the presentation asked where I got the idea to go into such detail, and that I possibly knew more about the company than most employees.

Good Luck!

Difficult to suggest as you have not indicated what the company actually do .
However as a general rule of thumb , they have given you 3 mins do make sure you do not over run as they might just stop you at the 3 mins with your best line unsaid !!
You should start with "
1.My name is XXXX and I am the person you should employ.
2.I have a number of interests including ( state a couple and maybe say why )
3.I enjoy mixing with new people and would really welcome the opportunity of joining (company name) and being part of the team
4.My main strengths are (e.g achievement focus , attention to detail and I am quick to learn new tasks ( n.b. you may be asked for examples so think about that )
5.Try and finish with a bit of a quip , related to the company itself , and then just say that you hope you have convinced them that you are the person for the job and would love to forge a career at (company name)

As props you might take something related to the 2 personal interests , or to your main strengths as an example of these

Try and be confident , if you need notes then use them

Good Luck , hope it goes well

Props you do not need, information and knowledge yes. First wear something in the colors of the company logo, next research them, use the internet, if it is a large public company yahoo business, in the stock market look up (you need to find their abbreviation, which can also be looked up there.) will give you all the financial s on the company and all the news releases they have given out, find the ones that match what you know, do, or would be an asset to. Do some research on continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, six sigma, just a basic knowledge will help as those are hot commodities right now.Think about your strong points, and any experience that you have, and compute programs that you have a good deal of experience in. (Could be more specific if I knew what type of position, or more importantly what kind of business)Be confident and good luck, or as they used to say in vaudeville, break a leg

Look at it from their perspective, what interests them? Can you get a copy of a business plan that has been circulated amongst employees? (ok, not easy) Present some kind of analysis of one aspect of the business... their customers or their competitors or products etc. Focus on one aspect of the business only and show depth of research and relevance, try to come up with stuff they might not know (without sounding too smug).

Bring them all chocolate or wine! XD ok maybe not it could go wrong i guess you have to say what you can bring to the company and what you might hope to achieve i think how you come across will have the most effect though you have to appear in control/confident.

I guess I'd start by listing the main qualities they are looking for - dividing them by 3 minutes and giving equal time to each one, giving examples of how you meet them.
You could tick each one off on a flip chart as you go along - title it - "what are you looking for?" or "the perfect (whatever you are applying for)"
