To mind our own politics we would have to become a separatist nation again and that was what got us involved in WW II

As Christians we are called to walk this life on earth to be like Jesus whether as politicians or in any other endeavour. The sad thing is that most Christians are not able to reflect the wisdom, power and character of Christ in and through their lives to touch and minister to others. Most Christians are living a life of hollow Christianity with no substance of Christ in their lives. That is why Christians cannot turn the world right side up and make no diffirence to the world. It not by our own might nor by our own power but by the Spirit.

NO

America has an obligation as a super power to try to better the living conditions of countries across the globe. The problem is in the execution of that obligation. The Us stood back during ww2 and allowed the execution of six million jews, It was only with the bombing of peral harbour did the US decide it was time to act.

We live in a Global Community, and a isolationist attitude would lead to global conflicts on a massive scale!

I am a Ronald Reagan Loyalist "Carry a BIG GUN-BOAT" and get everyone's attention.

Wish all Presidents had his "Grit" his will, that attitude.

Make no mistake, I am for assisting other countries politically! However, I am 100% against one US Dollar assisting any country! If they are unable to sustain there own countries financial stability! Like the "Borg" on Star Trek, let them be assimilated!

Would the world be a better place without the USA!

NO! - We are the standard for the world!

America is one of the youngest nations on the Earth, now the most powerful, the world would be hurting without us. Especially with all the contributions we make to help other nations in need.

That kind of thinking is along the lines of them 3 monkeys...see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil. We as a strong nation have taken upon ourselves to be the "parents" of so many of these nations that are severely troubled. If we backed out and "minded" our own business like so many want, how many country's would be overrun by the truly evil? How many people will be starved to submission? how many people will be forced into military to kill their own loved ones?
Yes we are in a war that none of us want. But really...who wants war? Yeah our government at the moment is being ran by a bunch of power hungry morons, but we are to blame for that. We voted that "man" into power. Next time around, just make sure you are educated on who we put in next.
And If we backed out of everyone's business, who would step in? Would we really want another country have such power as we do?
We are hands down the strongest nation out there. Not because of our size, money or anything like that. We have freedom of choice. And our forefathers, and even that idiot in the presidents chair knows, that its our duty to give that opportunity to those who never have or can get it on their own.

Put it this way. If America backs off someone else will go in. Some bad, and some good. We live in a world of special interest. what was the old saying? Power currupts and absolute power corrupts absolutlly!

YES! I have often said that we should stay at home where we belong, mind our own business, and let other countries do what they want, when they want, and how they want, just as long as they leave us alone, too.

The last time I cracked a history book, and if I remember right, I believe that every time we minded our own business, we got a bloody nose.
