You can try the Natural History Museum. Or the Bronx Zoo. Or the park that has that huge metal globe that the space ship on MIB crashed into.

We just went to New York City last month for the first time.......We walked around times square......Really amazing place......We drove by central park. Saw the Statue of Liberty. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe. I would suggest looking on the Internet for tour buses, and read about the sights they visit, and if your not familiar with the city, get a GPS system, we rented one with our car..........I got lost many times, before i turned the gps on.. Be prepared to have money for parking. And where some good walking shoes..........the city is breath taking.

Before you go anywhere, make sure it's open.
The Cloisters
The Morgan Museum
Take the ferry to Hoboken New Jersey (ask at any subway station how to get there)
