Like I quit my job today at Target because I go back to college in a few days but can they rehire me again if I wanna work there?

As long as you gave them at leat a two week notice or a written resignation you should be able to get rehired by them. If you did not then I do not think they will unless they realy need associates. Good Luck

I don't know what you mean by "automatically" but, if you want to BE rehired, you will have to make the effort and reapply. It is not likely that the store will go out looking for YOU.
As one person already answered, talk to your supervisor BEFORE you quit, about coming back when you are ready. Give him time to replace you and allow him to think about bringing you back in with no resentment from either of you.

itisnt likely because if you quit before then it shows them that you arent very reliable in keeping your job but you can always try it wouldnt hurt if they will hire you again then it probly wont be soon because theyre probly other people waiting to get a job there too so good luck

It depends on the company, but if you did a good job they probably would hire you back quickly. Talk to your boss now about working there on vacations...
