Thank you Nillio, Usually we get bashed for not believing fairy tales. When you get all the foolish superstitions out of your head, it enables you to appreciate the wonders and beauty of the world.
The person who walks through a woods, or along a stream, observing, studying, remembering will get more out of life than the person who spends a great part of his life praying.
Time spent praying or reading religious fairy-tales is time taken away from learning about what we have right here before our eyes.
All superstitions are a drain on the brain. Foolish waste of brain power. Dump all superstitions, and begin to live.

Other people cannot save you, including an Atheist. But you can save yourself by putting your trust in Yeshua (Jesus). Putting your trust in other people and what they say... including atheists, just doesn't work.
The ability to appreciate the little things in life, and being kind to others I find is more pronounced when I am in close communion with God. Could it be that you never really got to know God? I would think about this a little more before assuming there is no truth to there being a God.

Lets see how you do over the long haul. Check back in about a year and let us know how that anti theist attitude is working. No one should get to excited about any new idea they read about because sometimes when the rubber hits the road, it doesn't have a lot of meaning.

My atheism became a journey, no longer a revelation. i did no longer awaken one morning, stretch, say, "ok there are no gods," and circulate get coffee. i became raised interior the church (would not remember which one), yet I in no way somewhat believed any of it. It merely looked so ... stupid. despite if, I spent countless years getting to know each and all of the main religions, to be certain if absolutely everyone had a extra useful answer. None did. technology explains issues extra useful, and is keen to admit it would not be conscious of. a minimum of they conflict to be certain, instead of falling back to "God did it, do no longer question it."

Thank you. We're not as interested in trying to "convert" people to being atheist, but we are definitely interested about making people really THINK about the things they supposedly believe.
