It is 95 degrees today and my little sister (22 yrs), whom I live with claims she has the FLU. She is going to the doctor tomorrow.. is this possible? Also aren't you violently ill with the Flu? Like no antibiotic helps?

You can get flu in summer as it is a virus but most people nowadays say they have flu when they only have a cold. If you get flu you feel very ill indeed and ache all over high temperature and feeling sick and dizzy. think she should take a couple of paracetamol and some hot lemon get a good nights sleep then get to work.

Yes. It could be all the temputure changes , One day its cooler then others. Alot of people tend to get the flu during the summer.. Don´t worry stronger antibiotics should help out..

Flu can be caught year round, but
the local common pediatrition usually
only holds flu shots in the winter time
because that is when flu is mostly common.

Yes it is possible get it any time of year. Peopel are just more likely to get it during the winter time because they tend to stay indoors more and are around more people.

You can catch anything any time of year. Viruses seem to go around more in the winter because people are inside more passing their germs around.
