As an ex-South African, I look at the current economy in that country, run by relatively recently emancipated black people, and wonder at the new apartheid they have imposed. Businesses are judged in their government tenders by the number of black directors and black employees they have. If you are black, you have a much better chance of being employed, as a result. So-called affirmative action is reverse apartheid.

People who play the racist card in the UK in my admittedly limited experience, are invariably black, illegal immigrants, or other disadvantaged individuals who have not been able to attain an independent lifestyle without state aid of some form.

Those who call other people racists seem to be of lesser intellingence than that of the predominant population, and they resent this inequality. What else can they do?

I've been called a racist on e-mails from a few users. I had to block it up again today. I actually did some self evaluation on that accusation and while there are a few times that I've gotten heated in responses to comments, I am far from being a racist. I'm just anti-amnesty for illegals and anti everything else illegal immigration entails and I will stay that way no matter what I'm called.

In the border states (the states that share a border with Mexico) , at times if a person speaks against illegal immigration they are considered racist.

1. If the person does not have papers they should not receive any government services.

What you receive when you come here illegally.
a. free medical care and hospital delivery for your anchor baby.
b. Additional teachers are hired to provide bilingual/ESL for your children who are here illegally.
c. Food Stamps
d. Housing
e. Clothes
f. Free lunch and breakfast for your children at school.
g. Free school supplies.
h. WIC for children under 5.
i. Pre-K (Due to language they are admitted free where as a middle class child is not.)
j. Headstart (Due to language they are admitted free whereas a middle class parent is paying for day care.)

There are students who were born in the US who still do not speak English fluently at the age of 12. This a home problem not an education problem. The parents don't want to learn English and they don't encourage their children.

I have travelled to other countries and it was my responsibility to understand and learn the ways of that country. "When in Rome....."

I am not a racist. I am frustrated that an illegal immigrant comes to this country and receives more dollars in government benefits than I make.

I go to the Dr. and they require payment even after insurance has paid. If I don't pay they don't see me any longer. I haven't been to the dentist in years because I can't afford it.

"Political correctness is the narrowing of the range of acceptable opinions to those held by a small group that enforces it. It is a attempt, often successful, to coerce the majority to accept the opinions of the enforcing group by suppressing any contrary opinion and making independent thought unacceptable. The enforcing group may be afraid of the the consequences of open discussion, or of making the facts known. It generally has a practical motivation: it wants something of value (money, jobs, special privileges) to which it has a weak claim. So it attempts to enforce its claim by ruling any disagreement from it outside the bounds of acceptable discourse. This is unnecessary when the claim is self-evidently strong, but may be the only means of getting the claim accepted when it is weak."

I really don't mind being called a racist by these people. I simply consider the source and let it roll off my shoulders. Anyone who knows me knows that it is a false assumption. As for the illegals, I could care less. I have no respect for invading people who want a free ride, and it's illegal. It's been a legal issue for me from the first and shall always be a legal issue for me. No matter how many names I'm called, I'll know the truth!

It doesent bother me if someone says Im racist,It is just another way for lawbreakers to try and justify their actions.Political correctness and the race card are getting old.CRIME VICTIMS OF ILLEGAL ALIENS

There is an enormous number of Americans who have been harmed by the criminals who pass through the nation's open borders. For that reason, this section can only provide a symbolic tribute to the many unnamed victims who have been killed, raped, robbed, crippled and otherwise personally violated.

It is particularly shocking that even in post-911 America, the government still refuses to protect the people in the most basic ways from the world's terrorists and criminals who enter at will to do as they please. The borders remain a sieve while the human carnage from crime perpetrated from illegal aliens continues to mount. In another stunner of INS malfeasance, the agency often cannot even manage to deport dangerous criminal aliens when they reach the ends of their prison terms.

I'm tired of all the labels.

It is sad that almost nobody on here can simply say, I disagree with you, here are the reasons, here are the facts underlying those reasons.

No, they have to call you names. How lame is that?

i disagree with people all the time, and no one has ever called me racist.

some people are kind of trigger happy with the racism thing when it comes to immigration, though- although, there are a lot of people who say some pretty racist sh8t when discussing it. as lame as it is, people are just generalizing.
