You can't possibly be this stupid.
There's no conclusive scientific proof that Jesus existed (no body, etc.). While there are reams of historical documents and it's most likely that he did exist, it can't be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Your 2 year old daughter thanks Jesus for these things because you've taught to do so. By the way, thanking Jesus more material gain? Have you even been paying attention in church?
This is NOT a Christian nation. It is nation of free thought. You are free to believe whatever you like, so long as you don't force that thought on others. If you're hankering to live in a theocracy, try Iran. If it has to be a Christian theocracy, there are a number of African dictatorships that fit the bill.
If you hate America and its freedoms so much, you can be the one to leave.

We can just leave? Maybe since this is Jesus' planet, the rest of us should just jump off. Then you could thank Jesus, Santa, The Easter Bunny or whoever the hell else you can dream up. Sure, Jesus is "a specific historical person". But did he actually exist in the flesh? Or was he just made up like so many other things you've been led to believe? The things you have learned are in fact just that. That doesn't exactly make them real. Don't misunderstand me, not all that you have learned is false, but it is important in life to use critical thinking to separate fact from fiction.

No, there shouldn't be a law against it. People have a right to believe what they want. Religious freedom, and that also means the ability to NOT believe in Jesus, is one of the founding principles of our country. If they don't believe in Jesus, then who cares?
BUT... you are definitely right about one thing. If someone wants to argue that Jesus was not divine or that there is no God, then fine. I can't prove it. But to historically claim he never existed at all is actually very ignorant. You will find very few, if any, historians that believe this. There is as much physical evidence that Jesus existed than there is that Socrates or Shakespeare existed. Do they not believe in Socrates and Shakespeare? Hmm...

"Jesus" is a composite of any number of people and of a variety of folk tales and societal ideas regarding morals and appropriate behaviors.
By the way - if any of my daughters had lost a tooth by age two, child protective services would have been knocking at my door - it would take a bit of abuse, to say the least, to cause a two-year-old to lose a tooth. How young did you say your child lost a tooth? Hmmmm! Do ya really think giving her a twenty will make her forget the abuse? I think I'll give YOUR local child protective services office a call right now...

Why no longer? Taoism is only the observance that adjust is the way the universe works. Taoism is unquestionably all approximately accepting exchange and the thank you to go with the rigidity of exchange rather of against it. Lao Tzu is the originator of the Tao, and you ought to study his historic textual content cloth, referred to as the way. be conscious, that the universe and each thing in it, is in a relentless state of exchange. no longer something remains a similar, no longer something - each and every atom and molecule is changing each and every nanosecond. no longer something remains nevertheless in the universe, no longer stars or galaxies. Humanity is continually in a state of exchange. Nature is continually changing and sculpting the earth and each thing on it. The oceans and seas are ever under pressure. Clouds pass around the skies. Seasons exchange. All living issues are born, age and die. exchange is the common regulation of this universe. and because God created this universe, exchange is what God is all approximately while it is composed of this universe. Being a Catholic has no longer something to do with gazing the info of the universe - a minimum of, no longer in the twenty first century - it might have been a great problem, we could say, 500 years in the past, yet no longer right now.

Can you believe that some people believe that Jesus was a tooth fairy? Are they crazy, uneducated, or what? Imagine that.

Oh I think Jesus was a person in history. No evidence that he was the son of god or that his mother was a virgin but he did live for a little over thirty years a couple thousand years ago.
