i am insecure of my self because my body is think and slim compared to other average guys ...

when i attend an interview i feel that my slim body makes me think that the other person when he sees me he get the idea that i will probably not fully fill my position as a grownup guy ... and i always felt that other people see me as a teenager because of my body ... am 27 years old

i am not muscular at all ... not even a little fat ... that make me so insecure when i stand to other avrage guys ...

i am 1,72 meters high (5.6 feet) and weight 60 kilos(132 pounds) .... am not short , but thin...

my question is , how can i make my self feel better about my self psychologically ...

i am working on my body now, lifting some weights ... but in the mean wile i need to improve my self confidence from the inside

Wear a nice suit that is tailored to fit your frame. Your clothing says a lot and if you feel good about your outfit you will feel better about yourself. Walk into the interview KNOWING that you got the job - you're just there to simply make discussion with them. Relax during the interview - don't sit rigidly. Just act very confident. Smile when you walk into the interview and shake everyone's hands. REMEMBER THEIR NAMES and remember to say their name at the end of the interview. Bring in a notepad and don't be shy about taking notes if they start talking about details of the job - that will look like you are truly interested and you are ready to learn the job, etc. Remember - be CONFIDENT - they don't care about your body - they care about your brain and your communication skills. I am a Human Resources Professional, and I have interviewed and hired several people of all shapes & sizes for my past & present employers. From my standpoint, there are several factors that go into choosing someone right for the job. In addition to having relevant experience and the like, the strongest candidates I've hired have always spoke with genuine enthusiasm for the job they're interviewing for and what they've done & are able to do Usually, when you're enthusiastic about something, it shines through and personal insecurities don't seem as big. Of course, you want to conduct yourself professionally in all situations. I really encourage you to focus on what gets you excited, what motivates you, what accomplishments have made you feel proud about yourself -- because that all comes from the inside and exudes outwardly everytime.

I think if you are having confidence problems lifting weights is a great idea - but keep in mind, if you're naturally a thin person, you will NOT become a whole lot bigger, although you will likely add some bulk. I would recommend taking a protein supplement to help build your muscles as well.

However, the bottom line is this - IT IS NOT A CURSE TO BE THIN. Think about how many overweight people would love to be in your positions?

Seriously - what you need to work on is your self-esteem. Getting your body in shape is not going to get the job - but changing your attitude about your body might get you in the door.
1) Focus on the information, training and education you have prepared for this job.
2) Focus on what you can contribute to the job.
3) Hopefully, you have some people skills - you will need them.
4) STOP beating up on yourself because of what you look like.
5) The only way you are going to start feeling better about yourself is to stop comparing yourself to other guys - you are special and unique and God made you an individual. He knows every hair on your head and knew you before you were formed in your mother's womb. He has appointed you and anointed you with gifts and talents and visons and dreams that only YOU have been given. Now, you have to believe this and step on on the measure of faith that you have been given and start 'doing'. Read some selfhelp books if you need to improve. Surround yourself with positive thinking and speaking people. Join clubs, groups or organizations of people who, like you are waiting something in life.

I hope that in your quest to better your body shape that you first consulted a nutrionist or someone in the gym who can advise you on what areas you should work on.

Consider the purchase of clothing that make you feel good. If you are in search of a professional position - you should have at least one dark suit (navy or black) with a nice shirt and tie (go outside the box in this selection....) Shoes, socks, hair cut, cologne, clean nails and limited facial hair are all things that can help you in the self-esteem area. Pump up the things you can do (hobbies, talents) If you can't...learn to do something...get on the court and play ball- something that will encourage you and get you on the right track.
