Fine by me. As long as they legally qualify and don't break any laws, it's great. I think probably 90 percent of the police feel the same way.An armed society is a polite society.

I have never met a cop that thinks it's a bad idea. Many cops have been saved by citizens carrying concealed.
People who carry concealed are more aware of what's going on, mature, obviously not a felon, and smart enough to realize that they are responsible for their own safety.

I believe if u dont have a history of violent crimes or aggravated nature, then I respect ur right as a citizen to be able to legally carry a concealed weapon. If u do have a bad background, then no, u shouldnt be able to carry one, which is usually how it goes. I know lots of people carry weapons legally because they live near gang areas, or areas with violent crimes, so protection:good, assault:bad.

Any of the L.E.O.'s (Law Enforcement Officers) I know and hang around with Like the idea of an armed citizenry.
They know that they can not always be there, nor are they responsible for Our personal safety (According to the Supreme Court).
They also know that the "Bad Guys" already have their own guns....and that any laws that restrict personal ownership will just be ignored by them anyway....leaving the "Good Guys" (The one who would follow the laws, and the ones you don't need to worry about in the first place) vulnerable.

As long as they obey the laws, I have no problems with it. The ones you have to worry about are the ones that do NOT have the permit and carry anyway.

Nothing wrong with a law abiding citizen exercising their 2nd amendment right to possess a firearm in a legal manner.

i'm fine with it. the background checks that go into the applications are pretty strict as far as who can get one goes so its good to know dealers cant get them (unless they have a spotless record) which is the one flaw. people can be criminals w/o being booked for a previous crime

It's funny but our local Democrats with Guns group signed up as many minorities as we could and took them in for permits. The cops didn't seem happy about it at all! LOL. I wish I could have filmed it.
