I am 13 years old an weigh 82 pounds, and I frequently suffer from anorexia and bulimia. Everytime I think it is taken care of, something bad happens in my life and I pick one of the two. I know what happens to you when you have an eating disorder, so I don't want to hear a lecture. I just want to know how I can keep it from coming back after I get over it. PLEASE HELP ME! I don't want to go to a doctor.

p.s. my mom found out that I had bulimia and got really mad at me. She doesn't think I have it anymore, but she is the only one who knew but she has her own problems, like my dad. I don't really want to tell my friends because it would leak out and my whole school would know. I don't want that to happen at all.

im sorry, but the people on Answers aren't going to be able to solve your problem, talk to your mother, friend, or someone who is close to you and have them take you to the doctors. this problem can't be solved on yahoo Answers, you need professional help. Please go to the doctor. It sounds like you may also be suffering from depression, a doctor can help put you on medication to make this better, Good luck

i dont think that theres a way out of it if you dont have enough self control to keep you from falling back into the problems you are having. you need to go see a doctor or join a support group. you could also try finding other ways of dealing with the issues, such as writing things down in a journal or drawing, anything productive that will take your mind off the problem and that will keep you from the anorexia or the bulimia.

Honey, talk to someone. You say you don't want to go to a doctor, then talk to a parent, guardian, teacher, a friend's parents, just someone. Talk to ME if need be. You can't go on living like this though, you've been damaging your body for too long and it's gonna come back and kick you in the rear. Life sucks, Ship happens. But instead of taking it out on your body, talk to someone you trust.

Honey, if you are "over" it, it wouldn't keep coming back. You need to learn different coping skills for dealing with those times that come into everyone's life that suck. The following web site can give you some good ideas, but you really need to get into a support group that will help you learn the skills you need to cope.

you dont want to see a doctor and you dont want a lecture
but you want someone on YAHOO to fix you.
.........
seriously?????
.......................................
You are only going to tackle the problem if YOU want to.
You have to make a conceious effort to NOT be stupid and not throw up your food or just eat, that would be the only way you are going to do this on your own
but trust me
if this is serious, its going to be much harder... you need PROFESSIONAL help
TRUST ME you arent going to do this alone if its a REAL problem.

Maybe when something bad happens to you, you have nobody to talk to. This may the reason you stop eating.
