Men don't give up their manliness when they become Christians. The Christian man I'm married to is very manly. My husband and the other Christian men I know are strong, bold, direct and have healthy sex drives (according to their wives!). From what I've read in my Bible the Lord Jesus had to be physically strong. He was bold and direct with all people, even his enemies. Jesus enjoyed the company of his friends Mary and Martha but I have found no mention in the Bible of his sex drive.

Absolutely Not!! And thank goodness.
God created Adam a man, and expected him to act like one. I doubt God has changed His mind on this.
When we become Christians, we are to be what God made us to be.
God created sex, so we should enjoy having it in the way God made it.
God created strength, we should show it and use it to help others.
God created Boldness, we should use it for others sakes.
ext ext ext......
As for Jesus, He acted more then a man of authority many times in the scriptures.
You are no more less than a man being a Christian then not being a Christian.
It's how you use the manliness. Either to show-off or to help others.

Being a Christian makes you more of a man. The core Christian values are parallel with "manliness". Strength, courage, protecting your family, being willing to die for what you believe. Look at Stepen and Paul, and so many men who were tortured because of their faith. The cowardly thing would be to give up and deny God.

Not typically. Though there are an alarming number of heavily closeted homosexuals who become wrapped up in religion to alleviate their sexual guilt imposed upon them by their parents. 3/4 of the Mormons I have met has been VERY effeminate, spoke with a lisp and wore gay little black slacks, white shirts and black ties, riding around on little bikes. If that's not gay, I don't know what is... I mean, bike-riding in slacks and a tie... come on.

No, of course not. Becoming a Christian is not becoming a wimp.
Men don't lose their masculinity because of their religion.
Men lose their masculinity when they don't have any conviction. They don't have a backbone to stand up for their belief.

Just the opposite. Real men love Jesus, they cry, their compassionate, they are not afraid to show their feelings, their loyal, they pray, and they ALWAYS take care of their wife in EVERY WAY!!!!!!

The men in the Bible are anything but wusses. We see stories of valor, honor, and courage. Sure they weren't perfect, but we see them fight for the faith in word and sometimes even physically.
Unfortunately, our churches have emphasized feelings and other mush for far too long!
