Absolutely!!! The story isn't just in the bible, but every culture all around the world has their story of the world wide flood. I still prefer the bible. It's more detailed, and I believe it's more accurate.

Many do not know Noah's Ark 100%. Most of the time the part about the fountains of the deep being broken is ignored. That is water beneath the ocean floor was released, as well as the rain.

Genesis 7:11

11In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

Only in recent decades have scientists discovered hydrothermal vents along the ocean floor. Earlier this year there have been articles about underground oceans being discovered. Some scientists suggest that there might be more water under the ocean floor than on top.

The story of Noah's ark is true and happened just the way it's explained in The Bible. In fact the Ark, or whats left of it, is still at the top of the mountain in Turkey under ice and snow waiting to be discovered. Which will turn this fiction story into fact and give one less lack of proof excuse to the atheists to deny the existence of a Intelligent Designer named God.

To all you people who believe in Noah's Ark. I've found it. Yeah. And I'll let you come see it for a thousand dollars a head. Come on. That's a heckuva bargain to see the one and only Noah's Ark. And after you check out the Ark I've got some beachfront property you may want to take a look at. (Don't try and report me for solicitation, I'm just kidding. believe what you want)

no way. many cultures have a "great flood" story. just look up "Deluge (mythology)" on wikipedia. the story of noah's ark is good fiction at best. there's no way it could have happened the way it did in the bible. first of all, there's not enough water on earth to ever submerge the continents. are we supposed to believe that noah, his wife, three sons, and three daughter-in-laws repopulated the earth knowing that there are at least 9 different human races (black, white, asian, etc...)? how can he have saved kangaroos if there are only native to australia? like i said, at best, it's good fiction but to believe that it happened the way it did in the bible is laughable. i'm not saying that there were epic floods during antiquity. those types of events very well could have given birth to the noah story but it sounds a lot like a "i once caught a fish this big" story of exaggeration.

"Believe" Noah's ark?

The story is a legend, how difficult is it to believe a legend? And what's wrong with believing a legend?

There's evidence of flooding around the world . . . does it make Noah's story real? No. But does the story being a legend, make it any less of an interesting story that conveys a message? No.

Yes, I believe there was an ark, a man named Noah, and a global flood!
What I REALLY, REALLY believe in is the One who designed the ark!

The story comes from Sumer, long before it was written in the Jewish Torah. It was called The Epic of Gilgamesh.

There are similar flood stories found in just about every culture, so yes I'd have to say *something* happened, that's for sure.

There are some who claimed to have found the place of the Flood:

Whether that's Noah's Ark up there on the mountain in Turkey, who knows?

Believing in Noah's Ark should be part of a test to see if you are intelligent enough to vote in this country. If you answer "Yes", you are not smart enough.
