I would really just like every ones opinion on what you disagree with in the Bible? Please no rude comments thanks..

I've read the Bible a few times during my life, and while I feel that it contains important lessons to live by, it is still very much a history and biography of the time when it was written. I think this is true of most religious texts. The Bible is supposed to be the word of God, but it was written by men. Even if the messages were channeled by God, so much gets lost in the translation. (People interpret information based on their personal context of reality.) It's like the game you played in grammar school. The teacher would whisper a message in the first child's ear, that child would pass it to the next, and so on and so forth. By the end of the game, the original message is generally completely garbled and lost it's original meaning.

For me, there is a lot on information in the Bible that simply doesn't resonate. (Really too much to list.) When I read any religious or sacred text, I keep what resonates and discard what does not.

personally i dont disagree with anything in the bible , although a lot of people hold it as a loose interpretation , in all actuality you should take it word for word . most people dont realize that the old testament is almost exactly the same in all bibles , even Muslim and Hebrew bibles , one big difference in what Muslims believe is that Abraham took his other son to be sacrificed . also i might add that the first bibles were written almost entirely in either Hebrew or Greek , this adds for mistranslations and therefor confusion . Ive noticed in life that i can turn to any page in the bible , read its message , then go back to same page a month later and the message will become more clear . as a career i ran printing presses for 20 yrs and have printed millions of bibles , all kinds , for all religions . the one common thing all of these have is that god exist .

There is not enough time or space here for me to go into everything I disagree with in the bible. Let's just leave it with I find most of Grimm's fairy tales a trifle more believable.(hope that isn't considered a rude comment)

The Bible is the Word of God. I do not disagree with it. I believe God's Word, the Holy Bible. I study the Bible.

The Bible is just a history of a people written from that people's point of view. As long as that is kept in mind when one reads this text there should be no disapproval. Unfortunately it is the vast array of individual interpretations that people have disagreements with. It is only when one extrapolates moral lessons from this book and tries to force those lessons on other people that conflicts arise. I have no problem with the book as long as no one tries to press the morals from it on to me. There are several good lessons to learn from it but many harmful messages disguised as morals in there as well. I.E. Thou shall not kill is a good message, but in Exodus it says Thou shall not suffer a sorcerer to live. The former, and most well known, commandment I feel is morally correct. But the latter commandment is in complete opposition to the first and refers to having a death penalty for being a member of a pagan religion. The book is openly contradictory in its moral lessons, but due to this everyone has to pick and choose and reconcile the moral lessons in the bible to their own morality.

Again if you take it as a history text it is very informative and worthy of study. But if you take it as a moral doctrine to force others to live by then it is the largest cause of pain and bloodshed the world has ever known.

There's so much I disagree with, I could ramble on for hours, but in short, what I disagree with the most is the insidious claims people make that it's the very word of 'God' himself, and all who don't believe in it, and the 'God' that wrote it, are damned to hell forever.

It's a sick and tired old book that needs to be exposed for the death trap it is, rather than touted as the handbook of 'God.'

i have no disagreements with the Bible but any persons opinion doesnts really matter anyway God wrote the bible and thats all there is to it wether we disagree or not its all true there is no flaws in God's word it is perfect and holy and the things that zebrafinchlover said are not true at all

As a christion, I believe that the king of all creatures, Christo, took the shape of a human and taught the value of learning how to spell.

As a christian, I think that much of the bible should not be literally interpreted.

Deuteronomy 21:18-21 ""If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son...bring him unto the elders of his city...And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you!"

Psalm 137:9 "Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones."

Basically I fully support the notion of stoning disobedient disrespectful ltitle brats to death. It is the Christian way. And if I aim to be anything, it's a good Christian.

the only thing i dont agree with in the bible is the book of revelations.

my opinion is why should the world end? why shouldnt the people who were albe to live life live life?

but im a christian and i pretty much agree with everything else..
