If you have dental work like crowns or caps then no it will not work. It will only whiten your real teeth.

don't even try if you have any dental work you will just look stupid. I have a crown on my front tooth, and I did it, needless to say, my one front tooth was darker than the rest. I had to get it professionally done.

Whitening toothpastes often only have little particles (like tiny pieces of sand, but much smaller of course!) that rub against your teeth when you brush to remove some outside stains cause by plaque, etc... but this will not change the colour of your teeth like whitening them does.

Unfortunately these little abrading particles usually do more harm than good because they not only scrape against your teeth (which is okay, enamel is tough enough to handle them) but they scrape against your soft gums.

I use Crest Vivid White Night and I use the Day also. Using both has deffinately worked. If you can't find one that works, have you tryed white strips? They could work.
