She is getting to the point where she is starting to get overweight and I want to ensure my personal happiness, and her health too.

What type of scale is most accurate? Do digital scales work to the highest degree of accuracy?

Right now she is in the 115 lb area. That's fine, a little over, but fine for 5'5. We just don't want this to get out of hand. I'm about 25 lbs overweight and I don't want this to happen to her. For my sake.

Diets haven't been working the greatest, that's why I've been threatening to leave. I've even started dating.

Thanks for reading this and helping us out. God Bless you, and honestly, God Bless America!

I hope by diets you really mean fasting... No one at her height and weight should be fed at all.

Try going to sharper image, or one of those fancy schmancy places and seeing if you can find a scale that records memos. Like when she gets close to 115, she'll hear your voice saying "whoa! getting close there fatty!" or something like that.

I hope my advice has helped your relationship, and keep in mind, you don't need to stop dating. If you can find someone that can stay skinny on their own, then all the best, my dear friend.

Um, your girlfriend isn't anywhere near overweight. 115 for 5'5" has a BMI of 19.1... which is on the lower end of normal/healthy.
If her weight is THAT much of a problem for you, I don't think you should be dating her. You should be focusing on your own weight, not hers.

But if you feel you NEED to get a good scale... go ahead and get a digital one. They're more accurate than the regular scales with the little dial.

Edit - And I totally agree with Lyss! lol.

Are you kidding? If you are threatening to leave her because of her weight, then she doesn't need you and you must not really love her. If you cared about her, you would respectively tell her your concerned about her weigh, but threatening to leave is only gonna make her mad. Let her figure out what she is gonna do and what weigh she feels comfortable at. Just be there and support her.

The best way for her to lose weight, is to throw you the ****
out!
The women is only 19% BMI, for pete's sake. What a double standard.
All your extra fat must be in your head [ instead of brains ].
God does not bless people who don't treat others the way
the way THEY would like to be treated. He also doesn't bless people who mess around on their wife or girlfriend.

Her weight is completely fine. If it's that much of a problem for you then I dont think you should continue to date her. She should be able to be who she is and have someone love her for that. If deathly skinny is what you want then find someone like that dont try to change others for your own pleasure.

Get her a nice heavy one...bring it to her, and let her smash you over the head with it. Since you've been thinking about yourself...how about for HER sake, keep dating, and leave her alone! Guys can be such idiots.

do no longer think of of it as weight-reduction plan. think of of it as changing your eating conduct. what's she doing to weight loss plan? Is she following a weight loss plan, taking weight loss plan pills or in basic terms changing the way she eats? It does seem to help whilst a pair diets mutually. rather of taking her out to eating places, restoration her a meal and comprise the ingredients that she will consume on her weight loss plan. eating low fat, low calorie ingredients is as lots on your wellness as that's to drop some pounds. i think of she could savor it in case you made an attempt, a minimum of once you're mutually.
