im not saying you cant rely on a combination of both, im asking that if they contradict each other, which side do you choose?
like in proverbs 3:5--"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding"

" the fool says in His heart there is no God" Psalms 14:1
" the way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice" Proverbs 12:15
Science is good but don't elevate it to God status.....man's reasoning is not above God's.

All the world's powers emerged from one power which is the power os Silence. This means that the power of science also emerged from the power of silence which is the most elevated power. Thus, unlike science which produces noise(s), Silence is the embodiment of God or is it God rather the embodiment of Silence?
This is ample proof the fact that although science is powerful it has limitations when compared to 'ordinary' silence which has the capacity to invoke God which science cannot do.
You can deny God if you so wish but that does not mean He has denied you. You are His child and He loves you as a soul and wants you to recognise Him as such-the Father of all souls.
One cannot deny science either but excessive reliance on science will pull and spin your intellect to think that there is no God.In that case, who has become foolish?
Note that science has not been able to find answers to most of the myriad problems confronting society today and since it is only God who makes all things possible and indeed impossible things possible why deny Him only to put your trust in science.
Again how old is science one may ask? Where was science barely a hundred years ago for it to compete with God who is immortal, eternal and imperishable?
As to who to trust more whether man, science or God is purely a question of choice. For it is said that it is only the fool who says in his heart that there is no God.

If I deny science which most scientist will say is an examination of evidence not proof I have nothing to lose. If I deny the Living God that is with me daily I lose all.
Which is foolishness?
God Bless!

I don't know how it is for you, but in my mind they are combined. I believe in both - i should add though, I don't believe every word of the Bible - or better to say, i don't trust the interpretation human kind gave to it. That dosen't mean i don't believe in God, in fact I do, and a lot. I just think there must be an explanation, a reality we don't know, that combines them

Depends,

You deny god you supposedly go to hell when you die.

You deny science you will definately die faster with no medicines or doctors.

So you decide, are you willing to sacrifice many years off of your mortal life at a chance to be in a good afterlife or live a long, good life here and take your chances after. I believe if there is a god he won't punish me for using my brain that he gave me here on earth. I'm a decent person I help and volunteer whenever I can I'll take my chances after.

God doesn't seem to miracle cure people and help people as much as you guys think he does. Go watch Sicko it's about the health industry. People talking about how their 3 year old kids die because doctors won't help them and good people dying of cancer. Where is he then?

Denying Wisdom

I deny neither because science supports God and His laws. He created all of it. I think that people (especially Christians) don't take the time to learn how science supports God and just assume that it doesn't and that they have to choose one or the other.

Thats a FOOLISH QUESTION!!!

REAL Science, not the THEORY of Evolution, key word THEORY, only CONFIRMS the presence of God and His creation of the World.

You have to believe Evolution, because there is NO PROOF of it. It is also a religion.

The only reason people are afraid to admit that there is a God is because they will have to take responsability for their actions.....and people want to do what they want when they want to without facing the consequences.

More foolish to deny God and I trust God more than man. God has never let me down, man has, many times...
