My 28 year old brother and his 25 year old fiance are getting married on august 25th. I have no idea what to buy them.....here is some info about them....can anyone give me some ideas for a wedding gift
My brother:
He has always been into music..he has a band (punk/rock band). He has lots of tatoos, like skulls and snakes. He likes old rock like johnny cash, elvis presley etc. He also likes some sports, n he likes to travel n he likes the outdoors.
His fiance:
She also likes music, she is in my bros band. She plays piano n guitar. She is into makeup, hair, and clothes(very girlie girl). She also likes dark gothic things like my brother as well.
I was kind of thinking something that has to do with music, but at the same time. Im sure alot of people will be getting them like items.
I have a general idea, but i dont know any specific gifts.
so any ideas will help thanks a bunch....
I also have a limit..probably $100-$200

Do they have a registry? Get something off of that.
If they don't, or you don't like anything that's left on the registry, you can't go wrong with a gift card or cold, hard cash. Get a gift card from a music shop, or from a tattoo parlour! Personally, I'd love a gift certifacte to go get a new tattoo...

What about a tent or other camping gear? If they like the outdoors, they might use that quite a bit. Plus it's expensive to buy all the gear at once so getting even a few smaller items could be a good gift.
Or, what about a picnic set? (Obviously as just part of the gift.) You can buy very nice sets that include the plates, cutlery, wine glasses, etc, usually for under $75. You could combine that with a gift card to a store they like or with a few camping supplies.

I am definitely one that likes to stay away from gifts that I think other people might be thinking about. When I got married I ended up getting what seemed like 87 navy blue bath towels. lol
So, now I love to give something that will last for a while or have more personal meaning. Some things I have given in the past:
-A personalized bottle of champagne to open on their anniversary
-If you know where they are taking their honeymoon, arrange a dinner at a nice restaurant complete with flowers.
-Buy them a star: http://www.buyastar.net/ (there are lots of other websites that offer this too.)
-Take a really good photo of the couple and turn it into art: http://justlikeandy.com/gallery.htm

-Custom wedding cake toppers that look like the couple: http://www.weddingshowergifts.com/wedding_cake_toppers/index.shtml
Hope you find what you are looking for....Cheers!!

First you need to check if they have a gift registry and buy something from that. If not, give them cash...no one would complain about opening up a nice wedding card and cash falling out. Or, give them a gift card to a place you know they like to shop.

Go to the link above. They have gorgeous champagne glasses... they have one engraved with music notes. I wish I could post a picture. The couple could use these during the ceremony when they toast each other. It would be a unique gift that they would doubly treasure, first because it was from you and second because it was used in the ceremony. They only run $29.95 a piece so you would still have some of your budget left over to get them a little something else. Hope this helps.

Give her money. After having so maany expenses in the wedding, cash will be like heaven to them. So if you limit is between 100-200 you can buy a nice card with the money inside. Congrats to your brother!

Buy them a gift card to the Hard Rock Cafe, then another gift card to a store where they can buy music.

If they love music, are they frequent concert goers? You could give a gift card to Ticketmaster so they could go to a concert after the wedding is all over. It would be a memory they would always have and would think of you.
