Parents have a sacred duty to rear their children in love and righteousness, to provide for their physical and spiritual needs, to teach them to love and serve one another, to observe the commandments of God and to be law-abiding citizens wherever they live.

i think the most important role of parents is to always be there for the children no matter what- keep an open relationship so the children feel safe talking to the parents about anything and everything

The most important role of any parent, working or otherwise, is to teach love to our children: Love of self, love of work, love of others. A parent is the first version of God the child shall meet. All others who enter or leave our lives will be measured by what we first learned from our parents.

To spend as much time as you can with them and maintain an authoritative posture. Do not give in to them to make your life easier but on the same token don't ignore them when they need you.

Parents are just that and should never try to be a fried to a child. Children need structure and discipline. Although they may not appreciate it on the surface they do subconsciously.

Love, respect, teach, nurture and discipline will produce a well rounded child in most cases.

Always be there. Let the baby know its your priority to take care. Be a role model. Try to bring up the baby so it will be ready for this crazy world we are now living in.

It's simple, love. Also the feeling that mommy love you so much to work so you could try to have the best of what life has to offer. It doesn't take very much to make a child feel loved and special. Hope this helps :)

quality time! Ask questions about their day. Every day on the way home from daycare we discuss what went on in my son's day. I already know some of the answers, but it is a great conversation. He has now also started asking me what I did at work.
