Try coring the apples, stuffing them with butter and brown sugar and cinnamon, and baking them. Serve alone or with ice cream. Or try making pies or tortes.
For bananas, peel just one side. Scoop a bit out (eat or use for something else, like smoothies) and stuff with chocolate pieces and marshmellows. Wrap in aluminum foil and bake or roast or grill. This can also be done when camping.
Bananas foster:, slice and saute in butter, brown sugar, and a splash of rum (optional). Serve over ice cream. Hoo man, that's good.
Pears: grill until soft and serve with chocolate dipping sauce.
Grapes: freeze, alone or in ice cubes.
There are always smoothies, ice creams, and sorbets also. And oh yeah, fruit salad. Top with yogurt and granola. Optional splash of amaretto.

There fruit pie recipes everywhere, so I won't start. I love pineapple in stir fry. Just stir in drained chunks (in natural juice ). Or perk them up with a dip.
Colleen's dip- soften one 8 oz. brick of cream cheese and stir into it one 7 oz jar marshmallow cream. Add enough maraschino cherry juice to make it dip able, a couple tablespoons. Keep in fridge. Yummmmmmmmy

Apple-Almond Soufflé
5 apples (about 2 pounds) Golden, Delicious, Cortland, McIntosh or Gravenstein) peeled, halved and cored
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup flour
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup finely chopped toasted almonds
Preheat oven to 321 degrees. Butter a 2-quart soufflé dish (such as a round soufflé dish) Peel, halve and core apples. Cut into 1/2" cubes. Place apples in dish and toss with vanilla and 2 tablespoons sugar. In a small bowl beat remaining sugar with eggs, almond extract, salt and flour and melted butter until smooth. Spread batter evenly over fruit. Bake until the top is golden and the apples can be pierced easily with a thin , sharp knife for 50 to 60 minutes. Serve warm. Substitute fresh apricots or nectarines for a change of taste. Guests love this dish! Makes 6-8 servings.
Chilled Strawberry Soup
15 oz frozen strawberries, thawed, with juice.
15 oz low fat sour cream
1 tblsp grenadine syrup
1 tblsp vanilla extract
6 tblsp confectioners sugar
1/4 cup half and half
Combine strawberries and sour cream. Beat slowly till well mixed.
Stir in syrup and extracts until smooth.
Add half and half and mix till blended. Chill before serving.
Apple Crepes
One egg per person,
Two table-spoons of flour for every egg,
Milk to soften the dough to a creamy consistency,
A touch of salt,
Two table-spoons of sugar,
One apple very finely sliced
Blueberries and strawberries
Oil spray
Two pans, non-stick
Put all the eggs...in one bowl, after you broke them individually in a glass, to make sure they're OK. Add the flour, the sugar, salt, and mix together until all becomes a hard dough, even constituency. Add the milk, mixing continuously, until the mixture resembles the heavy cream. Add the apples.
Spray the pan and hit it up. Pour from the mixture the amount of a small ladle. Let cook on one side (40-60sec)
and turn. Another 40-60 sec and the crape is done. Continue until you finish the composition.
In a different pan place the blueberries and small-cut strawberries. Add two teaspoons of sugar and hit up on medium hit, mixing continuously. When the fruits are getting soft and the color is bright, take of the fire and put some amount on the crepe. Roll the crepe and ..enjoy. You can add some whipped cream on top, or vanilla ice-cream.
Poached Peaches with White Cheese Mousse
3 cups water
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 tbsp vanilla
6 medium peaches, halved and pitted
For mousse:
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1/4 cup cream cheese
3 tbsp confectioners sugar
1 1/2 tsp lemon rind
1/2 tsp vanilla
Combine first 4 ingredients in large glass mixing bowl. Microwave on high for 10 minutes. Stir until sugar dissolves. Add peach halves to syrup and microwave on high for 4 minutes. Refrigerate covered overnight.
Beat all mousse ingredients together, cover and refrigerate.
When ready to serve, place peach halves on serving plate cut side up. Spoon mousse into pit cavity and sprinkle with nutmeg.
WARNING THESE ALL ARE DELICIOUS
THE APPLE CREPES IS MY ABSOLUTE FAV THOUGH
