I've been watching the debates and Mike Huckabee is the one that most impresses me. He is bold about stating his beliefs, not apologizing or backing down. He is solid in his faith and speaks freely when asked.
I love how when they question him on his statements, he eloquently explains what he meant, without changing for political gain. He doesn't seem to be playing the political game, saying what the people want to hear. He has refrained from bashing his fellow candidates and when they try to make him do it, he beautifully sidesteps and gives a great answer without taking their bait.
And, I believe that a governor has more job experience that relates to the job of President. He has the experience of running a state, a smaller version of the country.

Mike Huckabee
He is from my home state. I have voted for him before as Governor.
He is a Baptist preacher and has very strong morals. I have seen him many times he is a good man.
When the primary election come to my home state I will probably vote for him if I don't decide to vote against Hilary in the democrat election.

First chirstian values are not a requirement for public office. It says that in that little old, dusty piece of partchment called the Constitution.
Now that this is out of the way. I am not impressed with any of the canadates except for maybe Dennis Kucinich. But, he does not have much of a chance.
The Dems suck and so do the Reps. I want a third party independent canadate to bring some flavor to the mix.

If he runs and I think he will,,,Newt Gingrich would be my choice. This country needs him..
.
Newt understands that we already have a national religion..Atheists have established Atheism through the mechanism of the Supreme Court. We must get our courts under control. Otherwise, we will be living in a secular tyranny by the end of this century.

Perhaps if my pastor ran for President......he would be the best.
I haven't paid much attention to the up and coming election next year.......it's gotten to the point where I could care less now about politics.
