It is rumoured that American troops will be allowed to act on Canadian soil during the summit..wake up Canadians before it is too late..Harper has no right to allow this.

It's not that unusual. I was a US Army MP and we worked with the Canadian MP's a few times on BOTH sides of the border.. So whats the big deal? You trying to start something between Canada and the USA? If you are trying to put US and Canadian soldiers against each other, forget it, we have way too much respect for each other for that kind of crap....open you eyes man you have lost any respect most of us had...and funny many are beginning to fear Americans a lot more than Russians here.

jseige:What are you freaking about? Canada and the US are strong allies. The US military and Canadian forces exercise with each other all the time. Ever heard of Maple Flag in Cold Lake? The US Air Force comes up there once or twice a year with their Aggressor Squadrons to play the bad buys during a big multi-national air war exercise. Canadian Air Forces come down to Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, NV to play in Red Flag, yet another multi-national air war exercise. I'm just naming the exercises that happen with the Air Forces, who knows how much more goes on with the other branches of military. Also, ever heard of NORAD? Yeah a Canadian General is the Deputy Commander since its for the defense of North America.
Why don't you try reading a newspaper on occasion so you learn about who your countries friends are.....ignorance!

so J why don't you try and read the question..."suppress demonstrators on Canadian soil"...a lot different than exercises...

I am sorry the question did not include the reference to supressing demonstrators.

I have a clock that sounds like this question. It used to go, "Boing - CooKoo"

Now, why would America need troops in Canada? What are you talking about, NAFTA perhaps?
