A nice dry sarcasm, similar to a nice dry wine, is best enjoyed in the company of others. Facial expressions, tone of voice, body language -- all can bring across the intended result, amazingly similar to showing what you really thought of the nice dry wine. Too much sarcasm, if there is such a thing, also has the same end result of too much wine -- people driving the porcelain bus to go pick up Ralph.

Too many people read at such a quick pace to get to the "punchline" - and because of this often miss the subtle wit contained in a sentence or paragraph. It is for the reader to find dry humour, just as its for the viewer to witness genius in a painting etc. that could often be missed by a quick glance.

I always thought there should be a special font or html tag especially designed for sarcasm. I mean especially in britsh culture where sarcasm is a main aspect in any conversation you have.
