It's a load of bull and a big con to part women from their money. All these so called "miracle" creams can do is bleach the skin so the marks fade but they do not go away. There is only one way to get rid of stretch marks and that is "surgery". Many women, that can afford it, get a tummy tuck. Once the skin has been stretched, it will not go back and it's the excess skin that causes the lines. Only stretching the skin again and cutting the excess off before stitching it back can remove them. For the thighs, it's more difficult. excercise helps the thighs as the marks will fade as the muscles are toned.

There is absolutely no way to remove stretch marks. It's like scar tissue. You can try creams and laser treatments to improve the look or appearance, but even those aren't guaranteed. Try strivectin. It's a bit pricey but helps some. If you have stretch marks on your tummy, then a tummy tuck is the only way to remove. You can find strivectin a bit cheaper on Ebay. www.strivectin.com Good luck!

1. Moisturizers and creams. Cocoa butter or anything containing vitamin E is good.

2. Alpha hydroxy acids to exfoliate the skin, soften the skin, and improved elasticity.

3. Tretinoin or Retin-A. This compound loosens the keratin in the outer skin layers and helps to exfoliate dead skin cells.

4. Surgery to remove the affected skin. A tummy tuck is one example when surgery removes stretch marks.

Use cocoa butter as preventive for future stretch marks. You can use self-tanner to minimize the way your marks look. If the marks are the result of weight gain, if you lose weight the marks will be smaller and look less obvious. Unfortunately, there’s no proven way to get rid of them. A dermatologist can prescribe creams (Retin-A) or do laser treatments to improve the way they look. Plastic surgery can improve the marks as well. But there is nothing that will get rid of them completely.
