It does suck, I have to agree, but if they found a problem that needs fixing; give them the time because in the end the game will be that much better. Also from the PLaystation point of view those are two really big first party exclusives, and they need them to be at their best to show off what the PS3 can do.

I want them bad as well, but I rather wait and not have whatever problem they are currently working out of those games.

That sucks. I was so looking forward to getting Lair in two weeks. I think Heavenly Sword is right on schedule. It's been schedule to ship around September.

I guess there's a reason why Sony pushed Lair back. Maybe it's to steal some of the thunder from Halo 3. Two of the PS3's biggest titles released one week after the other, and 2 weeks before Halo 3's release.

I didn't even know that Lair was delayed until you asked this question. I was looking forward to buying the game the day it came out, but if Sony needs a little more time to fix things in the game, thats fine with me. It's not like they delayed the game by 3 or 4 months, it's just another month.

Heavenly Sword is published by SONY but developed by Ninja Theory and Lair is published by SONY but developed by Factor 5, so as the publisher, SONY is limited as to what it can and cannot do. If the developers feel the game may need some extra time to be finished, there isn't much SONY can do about it.

Well.... there IS one thing.... SONY could RUSH the developer, but runs a risk that the game will be released feeling "UNFINISHED" and I don't think that's a chance SONY can take considering that Heavenly Sword and Lair are HIGHLY anticipated titles.
