To lose weight, you simply need to monitor how much you eat and the types of food you eat. You want to avoid overeating and avoid deep fried, fatty or fast foods. You want to increase the amount of veggies and fruits you eat since most of them are healthy and low in calories.

You also must exercise if you want to lose weight. There is no way around it. So find something you like to do, that you will stick with and do it! It can be as simple as brisk walking. It can also be taking up a sport, running (though that is hard on the joints), swimming, etc.
